Is an account required?
No. There is no sign in, subscription payment or cloud account in this demonstration.
Where is my information stored?
Your inventory is saved in this browser using local storage. It is not sent to Exergist. Another browser, device or website address has a separate inventory.
Is this a secure vault?
No. The tool does not encrypt your inventory. People with access to this browser may be able to view it. Record locations only, not document contents, passwords, account numbers or medical details.
What happens if I clear browser data?
The inventory may be permanently lost. Private browsing may discard it when your session closes. Download a backup or print a copy and keep it somewhere private.
Can I edit or delete an item?
Yes. Open Inventory, find the item and choose Edit or Delete. Delete My Local Inventory removes all items and moving boxes saved by this tool in this browser.
Does it work on another device?
You can use the website on mobile, tablet or desktop, but there is no synchronization between devices. A downloaded JSON backup is a record, not an active cloud account.
Can I record document locations?
Yes. Record that a passport is in a particular folder, for example. Do not enter its number or upload the document. The example passport record is clearly fictional.
Are replacement values insurance valuations?
No. They are optional amounts entered by you. They are not appraisals, purchase records, coverage advice or proof of ownership.
Are family accounts or paid plans available?
Not in this demonstration. Family accounts, subscriptions, insurance tools and affiliate relationships are potential future commercial models only.
